Sniffing sticks will become an integral part of your training if you decide to train obedience. Each stick has a unique symbol engraved on it, helping you identify the scented one. You only scent one stick and the dog then has to pick the correct one among other unscented sticks.
Why is it useful to have our stand during your obedience training?
- The stand is a great helper in the first training of finding scented stick.
- It prevents sticks from moving around.
- It helps to train precise marking (of the stick).
- The stand is comfortably portable with a rope that does not interfere during training.
- It's equipped with anti-slip stopperss to prevent the stand from moving during training.
- It is made of plywood, resistant to minor moisture, but we recommend it for indoor use or for dry conditions.
- Thanks to its minimalist look, it will fit into any household.
- The height of the stand is 13.5 cm, so it is suitable for medium dogs up from 10 kg.
- Width 27.5 cm, length 34 cm. The individual cup holes are 4 cm apart.
- It also includes 6 glass jars to store the sticks.
- The package contains 6 spruce sticks, each stick measures 5 cm - it is a shortened version of sticks suitable for exams.

And how does stick searching take place in practice?
- Scent one stick, hold it in your hand and keep touching it to keep your scent on it. Remember which stick, with which symbol.
- Sit the dog by your side and place the stick in a jar on the stand. Place unscented sticks in the other jars using tweezers, do not touch the sticks. Only 1 stick should be scented by you.
- Send the dog to the stand with the sticks, and he must find and mark the correct scented stick using his nose. Verify this with the symbol on the side of the stick.

If the size you ordered doesn’t fit your dog, there’s no need to fatten them up or put them on a diet! Just contact us by email or phone, and we’ll figure out the right size for your furry friend. We’ll then arrange for a courier to pick up the original parcel and deliver the new one. Shipping is on us, so you don’t have to worry about a thing!
