Biochar charcoal for dogs

Biochar is plant charcoal, made from woody biomass through a multistage thermochemical conversion process. Although it sounds very complex, it is actually a purely natural product for improving digestion for animals. It contains no polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and due to its powder form, it does not contain any bonding agent.

Biochar - why, how, and when?

• Requires very small dosage.

Dosage:

• Administer at least 4 hours apart from other medications and supplements.
• Recommended dosage is 2 g/day (dogs up to 15 kg, cats) up to 4 g/day (larger dogs). Horse 12 g/day. Teaspoon = 2g.
• Biochar is quite dusty, we recommend mixing the powder with water or moist food (canned, raw food). This significantly reduces the dustiness.

Caution, the excrement may turn black, but only because of the natural color of the charcoal.
